Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Snowboarding Wedding | Elyse & Lance

When Elyse and Lance wrote to me last year and asked if I would be willing & able to join them for a Jackson Hole Mountain Resort snowboarding wedding, the answer was literally momentary– OF COURSE! I don’t even know where to begin– we had the BEST time.

We booked an early tram/gondola and met up when the resort was still quiet. We rode up together, and finalized finishing touches, breakfast beers & all the other crucial parts of this adventure. When the avalanche bombing finished, we headed straight out to look over the Tetons and the whole Jackson Hole valley while Elyse & Lance read personal vows, exchanged rings (with Callie, their daughter as their ringbearer!) and said “I do!” to a lifetime of adventures ahead (and if this is how they are starting, I would say it’s going to be a wild and amazing ride!). At JHMR, in order to book an early tram, you have to have an instructor with you– which works out great given my guy just happens to be one of the lead snowboard guides for the resort– and we’re both ordained– so not only could we both join these two to make the day possible and do a celebratory shred, but we also we were able to legally marry them!

After celebrating with a champagne pop, hugs and photos with Callie and Elyse’s parents, we hit the slopes to shred the wed! If you haven’t ever seen a bride that rides– highly recommend 10/10! These two crushed it, and Jay and I had a blast ripping down some spring skiing alongside them and documenting the entire adventure.

When we had made our celebratory lap, we hopped back on for a tram lap to the top for some waffles at Corbet’s Cabin– really no better way to finish out the most epic of weddings!

Elyse and Lance– you guys were the most fun, epic, rad, and amazing humans we could have ever imagined doing this with & we are so grateful to now call you friends forever! See you out here next year for a few laps!
