Sarah and Craig have loved Jackson for years, and knew this was where they wanted Sarah to get her engagement ring when the time came. The time came, and this fall, they flew west to pick it up and put that beauty on Sarah’s hand! While out here, they also knew that a mountain west engagement session would capture a place they loved with their love and asked me to join them adventuring around the valley!
We started earlier in the afternoon in the park itself, where the recent October storm had left a few inches of fresh snow and cold temps and inversions had kept that snow there all week. We laughed, goofed off, and had a blast before changing route and heading to one of my personal favorite places in this whole area and where many of these images were captured!
It’s a bit of a drive between the two spots, but totally worth every second– there is something about negative space I just love for couples portraits… well, and images in general! I can’t suggest locations like this enough, as they feature the beautiful western fields that make Wyoming what it is, the incredible Teton range, and enough open space to capture the emotion and bring the focus to the couple! I also just loooove editing these landscapes, so bring them on!!
Laughter was endless and these felt like the new friends you have over for drinks and goofy ideas, knowing all too well they will be SO fun and so easy to hang with! I can’t wait to see their wedding and all the fun they get into!
