Sometimes the shift from winter season, (and, more so even, off-season) into the summer can be a little intimidating I’ll be the first to admit, but with souls like these on a Teton backcountry elopement it honestly could not feel more right. I am so grateful these two humans found me and trusted so much of their day and experience with me, allowing them to really enjoy all the Tetons offer!
We wanted to keep things laid-back while also incorporating a few different vibes of who they are in their every-day lives so that this day was truly a celebration of them, and their infinite love. While I prepped, Erin hung out with Tanya for some beautiful gorgeous hair and makeup and then we took our time laughing and getting ready with ease. We ran into the park for a first look and a moment for Erin and Joel to read their personal vows to one another before scooting off to the forest service for a magic celebration with the mountains around us.
We saved the best for the finale, allowing us to really celebrate everything they are with some beers in the pickup watching the sunset fade behind the mountains. We toasted some tequila shots, read letters and art from their families, got comfy in a style a little more true-to-them and howled at the moon with all the wild things.
Grateful for these two and the love and kindness they bring to this planet. Here’s to a heck of a lot more dirt-road truck hangs!
Shout to JH Flower Boutique for the always gorgeous florals and Dreamers & Lovers for the gorgeous gown (with a fun little add from her sisters dress as her something borrowed!).
