I’m always going to be a sucker for a beautiful intimate wedding in Jackson Hole. Morgan and Paul decided to elope, bringing their closest from West Hollywood to Alpine, Wyoming. Alpine is one of the secret gems of the Jackson Hole area, surrounded by peaks, the palisades and the Snake River Canyon. In the spring and summer you find all types of folks boating on the lakes before the reservoir is drained for Idaho farming and underneath the muddy flats emerge, along with their hot springs.
I joined them on one of the most beautiful days of 2018’s fall, temperatures rising into the 60’s and 70’s in late October, and met the most fun, spirited group of friends and family. Let’s be honest, Morgan is a goddess and she absolutely destroyed the Berta gown she wore along with her boots- fit for a western elopement. I had the absolute best time capturing these two, they were fun….completely demonstrating that they are best friends, above all.
Here’s to the beginning of many years of adventures together, laughter, jokes, and smiles. It was a true treat to be a part of capturing a day like this.
