I’m fairly obsessed with wildflowers, so when I got the chance to shoot this sweet couples engagement in Grand Teton National Park just before they eloped I was so excited. Each year the greater yellowstone ecosystem puts on quite a show for us, & while this years was a bit delayed due to weather, they are absolutely incredible right now.
Nicole and Mitchell drove all the way from Fargo, ND to spend the afternoon with me capturing a session of them as they are every day (I’m a big proponent of adding time to your wedding or elopement so that we can capture a fun or cozy session of you being you– those moments mean the world because they are true to your story). A little while later we got them ready and they eloped (see that post next!).
I love how sweet these two were with one another, and Nicole’s infectious laughter & endless smile. For a gal who was nervous about being in front of the camera, you would certainly never have known it because she as absolutely jaw-dropping in every shot.
Mitchell brought along his guitar and we got to listen to some sweet tunes while these two hung out, told jokes to one another, and smiled. If you’ve ever fallen in love, you know the look these two are wearing on their faces and you know just how special this time is for them.
It was so fun to capture two parts to their story together, stay tuned to see their elopement next!
