Featuring one of my favorite winter locations, this Amangani Resort wedding was a perfect feature on an incredible couple, place, team and love in the mountains.
In less than 2 weeks, this wonderful group of people put together a day for Ari & Matt that would allow them to celebrate the love they have found in the past year in utter beauty.
After proposing to Ari at Taggart Lake earlier this year, they decided to make their next trip to Jackson one they would never forget. Ari’s parent surprised her by flying in the day before to join us for the fun and to celebrate them, and her daughters joined with beautiful words for their mom and step-dad. Matt and Ari returned the sweet love back to the girls, joining a family together.
There were so many details and moments of this day that made it so special, and it was certainly fitting that Sarah, the event coordinator for Amangani and their officiant, asked them about a word that they felt fit their relationship, and they both said “adventure”. With some classic Wyoming winter weather, both in crazy shifting clouds and snow and mostly in wind that never ended, these two made the best of it to celebrate through anything… which is what it’s all about!
Amangani resort weddings are always some of my faves to shoot, and i’m already looking forward to being back there in a few weeks & hoping some summer sessions are in the future!
Here’s to Ari and Matt and their blooming family!
A special thanks to an incredible team who made this Amangani Resort wedding day possible, especially under quick deadlines. I feel so lucky to not only work with many of these ladies on the reg, but call them friends too. Floral work and event setup by Sammi at Magnolia Ranch & Cara at XoWyo. Planning work by my dear friend Sarah at Amangani, the amazing Lisa Mack with Lisa Mack Events (a true magician), and yours truly. Thank you to the team at Amangani for their work, and to Isaac Hayden for his always timeless and beautiful tunes. HMU both AM/ PM by the bridal queen, Tanya Crocker.
