Amangani wedding portraits tend to be untouchable in beauty, given this incredible location and venue. These ones took my admiration for this place a step further, uniting the elegance of love with the genuine laughter, adventure and free-spirits of the folks whose story I’m lucky to tell.
Stephanie & Isaac just married last week at their home in Miami and asked me to capture their wedding portraits in a “day-after session”. For those of you who aren’t sure what that is, I’m a huge advocate. Some folks opt to capture their portraits the day after the wedding, allowing them to be present for their wedding and the guests they share the day with. In turn, this also allows them to be present for one another & unrestricted by time .
I always love returning to Amangani to capture these stories. The resort itself is pure magic & the views are some of the best in Jackson Hole. Beyond that, it is always an incredible honor when another photographer asks you to tell their story. Given Isaac’s experience and expertise, I was so honored he asked me to be a part of such a memorable time in their lives. And, these two were AMAZING. Not only did we capture some incredible moments of pure elegance, but we had so much fun. These two were so willing to push through cold snow to capture images that did them justice. I can’t ever tell my couples enough how much those crazy adventurous moments pay-off.
I absolutely adore that Stephanie brought along a favorite candy bar of hers from her home country of Venezuela. This is a part of a message I’ve been pushing this year of capturing YOU as you are. Your true story, your true person– those images mean so much more in the long run.
These are just about everything you could hope for & more. Here’s to a lifetime of laughter, smiles, joy, and love for these two. Thank you Amangani for having us!
