THE BLOG

‘The mountains are calling, and (we) must go.’ John Muir Rebecca and Steven have to be some of the friendliest, happiest people I’ve ever met. They glow together, and are true partners in life. Chasing dreams together, supporting each other through location changes, and always using free time to explore the world in runs, hikes […]

Lindsey and Gregg contacted me a few months ago when I launched my series on intimacy and capturing lovers and set up this intimate in-home session with me. We captured the beautiful love they share on slow weekend mornings together in their apartment. Blueberry buns (thank you Milagros!), coffee and blueberry pancakes were the perfect […]

A Montauk cliff elopement is a pretty beautiful way to celebrate nuptials. Long-distance and differing home countries didn’t separate these two. I had a celebration and laughter filled weekend with their families that I don’t think could have gone better, chaos and getting lost included. I was a bit weak in the knees by the […]

Below are a collection of Maine wedding portraits, and they’re pretty unreal. It was a happy day when Ashley, who i had trained with and raced against for 16 years, asked me to photograph her wedding to Kyle. High school sweethearts, these two have endured long-distance and deployment for each other, and this day was […]

This wedding in Alaska was so much more than I can begin to explain. Two people who couldn’t be a better fit for one another, and who love each other and life together in the very best of ways. Uniting cultural backgrounds, these two came together with family in the Knik Glacier Riverbed to share […]

I met these two lovers in Alaska thanks to Instagram. I dozed in the back of the van they made into a mobile home while we bounced around between exploring Girdwood. They are the epitome of mates in soul, goofing around, playing, laughing and celebrating great value for one another.

I had an incredible opportunity to team with Claire Pettibone  to feature one of her gowns in an inspired hipster Big Sur elopement. (cliche word choice, but let’s be real, we kinda love the hipster vibes, just keep it real!) I was lucky enough to have an awesome team of artisan community members with me […]

A sunset desert engagement is hard to beat to begin with, but Hannah and Sam totally amped it up with their love and awesome personalities. It doesn’t end at that either, as not many people can say they also sat surrounded by hieroglyphs and walked on the Pacific Crest Trail during their engagement session, but […]

On solstice, this Alaskan wedding stole a part of my heart and soul.   Audrey and Michael are two amazing people, with spirits and hearts of gold as expansive as their home in Alaska. Traveling across North America to join these two in Alaska was by far a gift I will never stop being grateful […]

LOVE NOTES

Erin is so on top of her game!! She helped me pick out the spots, recommend vendors, come up with a perfect schedule for our perfect day. We couldn’t have planned this without her. She is so personable you feel at ease and that she is more of a friend rather than a photographer. She captured us perfectly & I will forever be grateful for that!! She goes above and beyond to make sure you have all the shots you are wanting and she truly does make it the best experience. You won’t regret booking her!!

"Not enough good things to say about Erin!"

Our family is raving about them too! After the wedding everyone kept talking about how great and personable you were and they still do when we talk about the day! The ones of my grandparents are irreplaceable. 13 years ago I came to Yellowstone with them and I will always remember my grandma saying that it would be their last time out there - and I was able to get them out there one more time. My grandpa is so proud of the picture of him at dinner and had to send it to all of his friends saying “he made it”. I don’t know how I’ll ever choose which ones to hang up. I can’t thank you enough for being a part of our day.

"WE GOT OUR PICTURES YESTERDAY AND I DON’T EVEN HAVE WORDS"

Erin completely exceeding my expectations, I cannot recommend her highly enough!! The communication from the very beginning was phenomenal as she was always prompt in her responses while also providing helpful recommendations, detailed information, and some lighthearted humor. She spent time in the weeks and months prior to our wedding learning more about us as a couple and about our preferences, as well as, creating a timeline and plan for the big day. Her attention to detail, organization, and support leading up to the wedding was above and beyond.

"I WAS BEYOND LUCKY TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ERIN"

I don’t think we stopped laughing the whole time. She made us feel so comfortable and like we had known her for years. She has such an eye for art and is so talented. We flew from Virginia and my boyfriend scheduled a surprise proposal, she worked us in between her other shoots and we are so thankful! I’m glad she was able to catch our special moment. Looking forward to working with her again!

"EVERYTHING ABOUT ERIN IS SO FUN!"
