A few weeks ago, Greg reached out to me in hopes there might be a possibility I could help him surprise Sarah with a Jackson Hole proposal. These are so much fun, and it’s such an honor to be a part of such an incredible moment in two lives. So of course, I was thrilled at the chance to join in another Jackson Hole proposal! I was able to sneak him into a busy week, and we began the planning process.
Many thanks to my friends at EcoTour Adventures— who were a huge part of making this day possible. I chatted with their office and the guide who would be with us, to formulate our story, nail down a few locations I wanted to be sure to hit, and talk timing. Once we had everyone on-board and ready, we were set for the day!
We met Sarah and Greg at one of my favorite places in the valley, Amangani, and off we went! When we got to the area I had suggested would be awesome and private for Greg to make the move, we staged a marketing shot and as Sarah watched the mountains, Greg asked…. and she said YES! There were tears and hugs and a whole lotta love– and a successful surprise accomplished! Sarah swore she’d know when Greg was going to do it, but he was amazing and kept it totally under wraps, she had no idea!
Then, we spent the rest of our evening cruising around Grand Teton National Park, watching for some of our more famous grizzlies– 399, Blondie, 610 and spotting rare birds such as the sage grouse. We found elk and calves, trumpeter swans, and so much more! What a cool way to celebrate such an awesome day.
Sarah and Greg, you two are amazing and I’m so grateful you had me join you. I can’t wait for future adventures with you two!!
