I’m quite familiar with Maine’s Causeway Club wedding options having grown up on the Island and having shot a few weddings there! When I connected with Natalie via a mutual friend, I was overjoyed to come back and celebrate love in a place I LOVE and with people I’ve known my whole life! I only make a few trips back a year for shoots or weddings in Maine, and these two were soooo worth it! I couldn’t miss their day.
Unfortunately, along with so many others, we made the call last spring that it wasn’t looking too promising for a full wedding, so we decided to hold off and celebrate this year. And, it was well worth it. It might have been a random cold snap, but the rain held out on either side of their day for perfect light!
There is a familarity with these two– we both grew up or live now on the “backside” ( if you know the island, you know!) and have a ton of mutual friends– so hanging out with them and getting to know Natalie these past 2 years has been such a joy.
Knowing the many years Natalie and Tyler have spent growing up and knowing one another, and all they’ve accomplished in building their lives the past years, it’s so clear that the future is strong for these two and i’m sure they will continue to take on new adventures together.
Thank you to their families too, who rallied through the changes, helped make this day happen, and genuinely supported the fun of the day. And, to the wonderful vendor team, it was a joy to be back working with everyone!
