Kirsten and Justin’s intimate Catskills wedding was without a doubt one of the most beautiful and meaningful ceremonies I’ve had the honor of being a part of.
Kirsten found me on instagram (@erinwheat), and we have become closer than I could have imagined. She is without a doubt one of the most talented, kind and wonderful women I have met, and its an honor to have crossed paths with her. I met her and Justin, who is an equally wonderful man, and heard their story of meeting, later falling in love, sharing their beliefs and love for their Scandinavian heritage, uprooting their lives, and backpacking around the country together.
An artist by trade, Kirsten put endless hours into the styling and details of this day, and as you can see, it was pretty phenomenal. She cut all the pieces of paper on the strings over the table, and cast the bears they gave as their favors to name a few. Foxfire Mountain House was an incredible venue, unique story, and catered one of the best meals of my life.
Simple, intimate, and absolutely beautiful, here’s Kirsten and Justin’s day. <3
