Snake River Ranch Summer Wedding | Maddie & Rob

Almost exactly a year ago, I got to celebrate these two people in the most epic river wedding bash where they tied the knot floating the Snake River, an adjustment due to covid… but a REALLY awesome one. This year, we got to do the bash in style again, celebrating them at this Snake River Ranch summer wedding themed with garden vibes and all the summer love.

Because Jackson is such a destination location, I don’t get to shoot a TON of local couples (BUT WOULD LOVE MORE!) but it’s been a real treat getting to know Maddie and Rob over the past two years and seeing the wonderful impact they have on our community and the spirit they share, which is off the charts might I add.

Snake River Ranch has quickly become one of my favorite spaces for wedding days– the views, the feels, it represents this area, this land, the people who truly live here and love it for ALL it’s beauty. Also, this is an excellent example of the magic that smokey skies can bring– those mountains don’t move, their spirit is here– and when the smoke rolls in we celebrate the natural cycle of the west and we take note of how early it is, and what we must do to protect these places. But, that said, this is such a great reminder that magic can happen no matter- it’s all about the heart and spirit you & I create together.

If I could do a day, I think one version might look a heck of a lot like this– absolutely amazing.

Also– shoutout to Tater for standing strong through photos after consuming 5 donuts and 2 breaky sandos pre-ceremony just to start the celebration off in true form– with a little touch of Aussie charm 😉
