Jean & Tj have been booked with me for quite some time, but were one of my first couples effected by the pandemic. They had to flip-flop a few plans, and ended up with a Fireside Resort wedding that finished with adventures in Grand Teton National Park, and a beautiful sunset at Schwabachers Landing.
I have a ton of couples staying at Fireside Resort in the next two years, however they were my first and I couldn’t have been more impressed with these cute little cabanas.
Jean & Tj have already spent many years in each others lives, but this day was a celebration of that, and the future they have ahead. They included so many amazing traditions into their day, acknowledgements of the land and the people who once roamed it and cared for it, and a lot of love.
I couldn’t help but love the awesome jacket Jean wore (which ended up being a great idea as a thunderstorm rolled through that dropped temps a ton!), and that they brought a marker to decorate their ride back to town!
We had a zoom call with Jean’s family while she got ready so that they could be a part of the day, and both Jean and Tj carried items within their wedding clothes that were from their family and closest friends. After they were married, Jean and Tj headed to the town square to wave at our local camera of town, so their families could see them live and wave back… and celebrate these two JUST MARRIED!
Thanks to the incredible Fireside Resort in Jackson Hole for starting our day out and giving these two a dreamy place to stay, Grand Teton National Park for the adventures, Felix our officiant (who made a long trip from Lander for us!), and my gal Tanya for her always magnificent HMU work!
