Jackson Hole Adventure Elopement | Kim & Duane

When Kim first emailed me, she thought I might be caught off-guard by the fact that she and Duane weren’t the more typical young couple just starting off, but a couple with an incredible story and a wild desire for a Jackson Hole adventure elopement. I was not at all, and even more in-love with them for their story.

Kim and Duane were high school sweethearts. They ended up separating, and went on their way– finding a different love, starting families, and realizing those people were not quite the right match. Years later, they crossed paths, and realized their hearts had known their homes for a long, long time. It was the most incredible thing to see this long & amazing love story come together in such beauty.

I have built such a wonderful relationship with Kim over the past year, getting to know the kind, sweet woman she is– so dedicated to those she loves and with a heart of gold. Both Kim & Duane are teachers (Kim is a total badass- a female ag teacher & animal science teacher!!) which says so much about their dedication to bettering their communities and serving the growing minds. And, we all know teachers aren’t there to get rich, it’s because of the hearts they have. Not all could put in the hours they do for years and years.

I feel like I have gained not only lifetime friends, but an extra set of parents too. I just love these two people, and could not be happier for the adventures ahead of them! The perfect Jackson Hole adventure elopement 🙂
